Recent Events

Welshpool Camera Club held its annual AGM last Thursday. A great turnout from members with plenty of ideas. The committee thanked the members for their feedback and taking part in the recent questionnaire. This has formed the framework for next seasons programme which will be published on this site soon.

WCC wishes all it's member a relaxing summer break with the opportunity to take even more amazing shots! See you all soon.

Secretary's Review

Well what a great season! We've grown as a club with new members but also in our outlook, knowledge and ability with our chosen tool - the camera. What an amazing tool this has proved to be, it's provided us with a ticket to reach all aspects of the world we live in. With a camera in hand you can very naturally take part in anything around you, capture unbiased moments of the world in front of the lens and at the same time become part of it.
This season has seen some great opportunities for the club, just looking at the pictures on the right shows how the club has worked hard to bring about the best in it's members. The new season will bring more opportunities, with the addition of new members on the committee, equipment and expertise amongst the members, we can look forward to an exciting programme and more opportunities ahead. Can't wait

The Club has now closed for the summer season. Various activities will be taking place between now and the new season, so please keep checking this page and the club's calendar for more information. The club starts back on 6th September 2011.
